Puppy Jumps In Front Of Mother To Save Her From Snake Bite

 When Paula Godwin went out for an early morning walk with her tykes on a paved Arizona trail, the only peril she allowed

 she faced was from the searing desert heat. 

 

 Her puppy dog, Todd, knew else. 

The golden retriever bounded in front of Godwin right before she was about to step on a rattlesnake. 

 

 “ My idol of a puppy dog Todd saved me, ” she wrote Friday on a Facebook post featuring prints of her injured canine, who took a bite to his face.

 Just hours before, Godwin had taken to social media to post a Facebook Live videotape of herself as she started her morning hike. 

“ nothing wanted to come with me it’s too beforehand!" she said.
