This is the account of the River Rescue Mission of Biggie the German Shepherd. A critical call came through to Hope For Paws.

In the Los Angeles River, a stray dog became caught in some debris. While they sought assistance, the neighborhood nourished him for weeks. There was no access to the river for several miles.

Unfortunately, this unique situation caught Hope For Paws' great staff off guard.

They were able to rapidly assemble the necessary supplies for this rescue effort, nevertheless, due to the neighbors' help.

Amazingly, all it needed was a little tenderness and patience for him to transform from being terrified to becoming your best buddy.
