Family Dog Insists On Being Part Of Newborn Baby’s First Photoshoot-And The Pictures Are Adorable
Bentley Madsen was the first child born to Brandon and Kelly Madsen. Of course, Bentley wasn't a human baby, but a four-legged buddy who joined their family in 2017.
But because to the Washington, D.C., couple, he was like a child, Tyler, their first child, sort of stole the show when he was born in February of last year. And amusingly, the dog insisted on joining in on the fun when Brandon and Kelly decided it was time for a picture shoot of their newborn.
Bentley, a 5-year-old goldendoodle, is "goofy, quirky, smart, loyal, and loving," according to Kelly, who spoke to The Epoch Times. He "has so many things that make him uniquely Bentley, like his utter inability to catch a ball."
But after Tyler was born, they were wary of bringing their new baby to their playful fur child.
Bentley had a chance to get accustomed to the aroma initially because we sent home from the hospital a blanket and hat that smelled like our son. "Two days after we were released from the hospital, we let Bentley to greet and sniff Tyler while also petting and loving him. And without a doubt, there is where their friendship all started.
Bentley was first quite curious about Tyler and would frequently approach him to give him a sniff when he cried. Bentley was referred to by the pair as their "baby monitor" since he frequently detected Tyler's distress before they ever heard it.
once that, Bentley was usually nearby when Tyler rested or played with his parents, and their relationship grew even closer—especially once Tyler subsequently discovered how to throw food scraps for Bentley.
We were aware that we wanted to capture the newborn stage in photographs, Kelly added. However, when everything was prepared to go, darling Bentley wouldn't be left waiting on the sidelines. They chose to shoot it at home to save money on the photographer.
"After getting everything ready, we put Tyler in his place, and there was Bentley!" Kelly thought back. He was always by Tyler's side when he was a baby, and he is accustomed to being the center of attention and having his picture taken constantly.
No matter where they put Tyler, Bentley had to either lie next to him or rest his head on him. The mother claimed that there is a "undeniable bond" between Bentley and their son.
Since that photo shoot, a year has gone. And when Tyler turned one in February of last year, his parents had already taken a year's worth of pictures of him, including one for his first birthday. However, guess who else was standing next to Tyler? Of course, Bentley
The parent said of the developing connection between the youngster and the dog, "Bentley and Tyler's adventures have only just begun!" His likely first word will be "Bentley," she continued.
