 KSLTV News reports that on July 19, a Labrador dog in Cedar Hills, Utah, fought off a mountain lion to protect its family. Despite suffering severe injuries, the dog lived to see another day. As Crystal Michaelis and her kids were outside playing in the backyard, Ella, a 7-year-old yellow Lab, saw the mountain lion. Michaelis didn't see the mountain lion, but she did notice Ella acting strangely and glancing back and forth between the kids and the area where the mountain lion was hiding. She continued turning her head in the direction of the children before quickly turning her gaze away, according to Michaelis. "My daughter was concerned since she was merely being cautious." Michaelis eventually brought her children inside. As they made their way back to the patio entrance, Ella had serious wounds to her head, face, legs, tongue, and neck.   She swam in circles for hours while frantically searching for assistance after a dog fell down a deep hole. She soon became too weak and exhausted to swim any longer, and that is when she was found. Eventually, a local saw the poor dog fearfully clinging to the well's edge and called Animal Aid Unlimited in hopes of getting help. When the rescue crew finally located her, it seemed as though the poor canine had given up on them. She was slumped against the well wall, looking dejected, when she heard a disturbance overhead and lifted her head. The worn-out dog gathered all her strength and started swimming in circles when she understood that help had arrived. She was thrilled to see her rescuers. The adorable puppy kept swimming around the well as a rescuer was lowered down it. She gave him a cheerful greeting before letting him catch her in a net.  After spending six years at a shelter, the "world's loneliest dog" is receiving a happily ever after. Freya, a dog that had previously lived in a shelter, once struggled to locate a conversation partner. She now enjoys working with some of Hollywood's biggest actors. She will shortly join them both. Staffordshire bull terrier Freya was brought to Freshfields Animal Rescue in England as a stray puppy. She waited and observed adopters coming and going for six years, but no one was interested in adopting her. Freya was given the depressing moniker of "world's loneliest dog" during that time after allegedly being passed over by 18,720 pet-seekers. But all of a sudden, things changed. After reading an article about Freya's dreadful position earlier this year, director Michael Bay felt that the lonely dog had been ignored for far too long.   Without a doubt, parents should be extremely proud of their children for learning morals, compassion, and a love for animals. Four young people from Detroit, Michigan (USA) saved a starving dog from being put down. These folks are genuinely altering the planet and giving humanity new hope. The Kenny brothers, Kenneth, Kevin, and Andrew Daniels, were helping an elderly neighbor move her things to a new place. While doing this task, they could hear noises coming from the next house, which appeared to be vacant. They checked to be sure what was happening was real, and what they found was heartbreaking.
