Trap most certainly didn't have a loving upbringing. He was after all "bandaged" on a Brooklyn street by his father, who had tied him to a gate. It was quite upsetting to see Trap's desertion on film. The previous owner of Trap had tied him up and had come into the store not far from where Trap was tied up to inform the owner that a dog had been left there. Trap was obviously bewildered and upset after his father vanished. For assistance, he was glancing at every passerby. The dog was thankfully found by nice individuals who noticed his anguish and realized that he had been abandoned. One Lucky Pup, a program run by Mr. Bones & Co., was contacted by some Good Samaritans, who then took in the pit bull and brought it there. Trap was given excellent treatment and a thorough physical examination by those people. He had hip dysplasia, therefore they planned for him to get a new hip after learning this. When that procedure didn't work, they had him have another on

As irresponsible owners dump their dogs with little guilt, the number of canines wandering the streets will never end. Rescue facilities have limited capacity and resources to house animals in their temporary homes, so they can only do so much to clean up this mess. Some pet owners are forced to send their animals to a sad fate—euthanasia—if the shelter is unable to find adoptive owners for them. On whether or not to permit euthanasia in shelters, there has been a protracted discussion about humanism. It is sometimes the only alternative left to animal shelters in order to make room for more rescues by putting a living being to a quick and merciful death, or euthanasia. Many animal rights activists, however, have condemned this action and recommended that, in order to prevent spreading disease to other animals at the shelter, euthanasia be limited to the most seriously ill animals. Numerous shelters have already adopted this concept, however some have clung to the tried-and-true appro

An abandoned 3-month-old pit bull puppy will never lack for anything after being adopted by actor Dave Bautista. The ex-wrestler has a soft spot for pit bulls, so as soon as he heard Sage's tale, he got in touch with the shelter to offer his assistance. Sage was brought to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay (HSTB) after someone saw her eating trash in a nearby cemetery. She was approached by a friendly dog when she realized she was wearing a metal chain around her neck. She hurried the pup to the HSTB for assistance. The medical staff examined Sage, who was wagging her tail the entire time, and got her ready for surgery to get the chain around her neck removed. We also observed that Sage has skin conditions and overgrown nails in addition to the chain. We have no idea who would harm her in this way, the shelter reported. Dave Bautista was one of the many people who expressed interest in adopting or offering to foster the sweet girl after she recovered. Dave, who was furious that any

A firefighter saved a puppy that had been abandoned by its owner and took it to a shelter. A Santa Monica apartment complex caught fire last week. Firefighters discovered Nalu, a dog, unresponsive and not even breathing when they arrived. In the midst of all the smoke and heat, I found him, firefighter Andrew Klein told KABC. I reached out and immediately realized he was dead "explained the speaker. Klein gave the puppy "mouth-to-snout" CPR before placing him in an oxygen mask. After around twenty minutes the dog resumed breathing on its own. He regained consciousness and began to move. He was eventually taken to a neighboring animal hospital by neighbors. Nalu, a Bichon Frise/Shih Tzu mix, was unable to be saved after owner Crystal Lamirande discovered her apartment on fire when she got home. Lamirande reportedly lost everything in the fire, but, according to KABC, she has developed a new relationship with her local fire department. Klein told KTLA, "That was prett

Man Builds 4-Acre Enclosure For His 45 Rescued Dogs So They Can Run Free

Regrettably, because of their age or traumatic histories, shelter dogs are occasionally disregarded. Regrettably, some people never experience what it's like to have a permanent home since they spent their entire lives in shelters. Yet, the majority of shelter staff members make every effort to guarantee that these pets are given the necessary care in the interim. Rescue workers are another group of people who dedicate their entire life to helping animals and giving them love and care. This man ultimately adopted 45 pets (and a grey wolf). You did indeed read that accurately. 45 dogs!! He takes great care of them all and welcomes them all into his home. He has built them a four-acre enclosure so they can run around and play, as if adopting them wasn't enough. The canines are initially seen being let out of the pen in the footage down below. All 45 dogs wag their tails ceaselessly and run into the cage as soon as the gate is unlocked. People adore it! It's very moving to w

A 3D printed mask for a dog's cracked skull was made by biomedical engineering students and veterinary surgeons at the University of California, Davis. A unique 3D-printed mask was recently given to a four-month-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog. The mandibular joint, jawbone, and cheekbone of the little dog were all displaced. She also suffered numerous puncture wounds on her neck and face. The poor puppy had to undergo a challenging procedure. After her surgery, Loca put on the Exo-K9 Exoskeleton face mask that varsity biomedical engineering students had created especially for her. Thanks to the mask, her jawline stayed in place. Throughout her three days in the hospital, Loca did incredibly well, according to a post on the UC Davis School's Facebook page. "She quickly started eating bland meals and was content taking her painkillers. To assist stabilize her neck fracture and reduce her range of motion while she healed, Loca was also given a padded neck bandage in add

Helpless Dog Found Tied To Pole,Reachers Out His Paw To Officer Who Come To Save Him.

Two dogs were reported to be tethered to poles on a dead end street in Pompano, Florida. Officer Angela Laurella was called to the scene. There were no cameras in the area, so no one knew how long the dogs had been there or who had left them. On the other hand, Officer Laurella understood that there was no time to spend because it was over 100 degrees outside. When she rushed over, she saw a frail gray dog gripping a pole so hard that he was barely able to move. He was attached to a pole with a very short leash, according to Amy Roman, president and founder of 100+ Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida, who told The Dodo. Every bone and rib protruded from him, and he was severely underweight and dehydrated. The dog, now named Liam, bent his head and put his paw in the officer's hand to accept pets. He appeared to shrink and extend his paw as if to beg her for assistance in leaving the area as she approached him carefully, according to Roman. Liam had a difficult childhood and need
